American History X - My Favorite Movie
If I were asked to sit down and think of my all time favorite movie, I would probably have to tell people that it is American History X. I love this movie for many different reasons. I feel that the acting in it is very well done, and character development plays a strong role in the movie. The controversy that the movie presents in itself is very interesting to me. Not often are people very open to talk about racism, more or less the hatred and acts of violence that come with it. I think that the movie is probably quite accurate to the type of lifestyles members of racist groups lived, and maybe even still do live in.

Winning.. is it Everything?
David
Maraniss' argument is an interesting one. I think that it is one that is not
too often seen from not just Green Bay Packer fans or even football fans, but
anyone who is interested in professional sports, and has a favorite team. His
argument to me feels very much so like a "put yourself in their
shoes" type.

Believing Game: Part B
Abortion is, and has been one of
the most controversial subjects of our lifetimes, but should it really be that
way? Discussions and debates over abortion can turn hostile quite quickly and I
never understood why. If two people are willing to engage in sexual intercourse
then they should be willing to accept the possible outcomes of it. The only
times that an abortion should ever be even considered is if giving birth can be
fatal to the mother or if the mother is a victim of rape. Other than that there
is no exception to this. If the mother and father choose they are not ready for
a baby, there are plenty of other options for them to consider. Abortion is not
the answer.
Believing Game: Part A
Abortion is, and has been one of
the most controversial subjects of our lifetimes, but should it really be that
way? I believe that women should have complete control over their bodies as
well as the choices they wish to make in regards to it. In the United States
Constitution it says, “All men are created equal”. With that being one of the
legs on which this country was built upon, why should anyone have the right to
tell someone else what to or not to do with / to their body. If a woman wants
to get an abortion, then that is their choice; plain and simple. No one has nor
should have the right to make that decision for her.
